VISITOR RULES of AQUACENTRE ŠUTKA

These Visiting Rules specify the conditions for safe and hygienic operation of all pools and areas of the Aquacentre Šutka (hereinafter referred to as “Aquacentre“) and have to be observed by all Aquacentre visitors.

All equipment and facilities of the Aquacentre are designed exclusively for visitors using the services specified in the price list offer during the opening hours of the Aquacentre. Other persons are not allowed to stay in the Aquacentre without the prior consent of the manager, both during and outside the opening hours.

By entering the area of the Aquacentre and paying the entrance fee, visitors agree with provisions of these Visitor Rules. Visitors are obliged to observe provisions of the Visitor Rules, follow the information signs and instructions placed in the area of the Aquacentre as well as instructions issued by the Aquacentre service staff.

The entrance area, the whole area of the 50-metre swimming pool, the children’s teaching pool, the water park and the starting points of water chutes are monitored by a camera system. The entrance area, the blue water slide and the starting points of water chutes are monitored by a recording camera system.


ARTICLE 1
General Information

The opening hours of the Aquacentre are published on the entrance door to the complex and on www.sutka.eu. The manager’s communications to the public are published on the entrance door to the complex, on the board in the entrance hall, on LCD screens in the entrance hall, on www.sutka.eu and on the facebook profile www.facebook.com/AquacentrumSutka.

Entry to all areas of the Aquacentre is allowed only with properly paid entrance fee and a valid chip. The sale of entrance tickets starts at the moment of opening the Aquacentre and ends 80 minutes before closure of the operation. Owners of season tickets can enter the complex 50 minutes before closure of the operation. Prepaid entrance fees are handled by the ticket office staff.

Prices for all services are published in the price list which is placed at the ticket offices, posted on the board in the entrance hall, on LCD screens in the entrance hall and at the ticket office, and published on www.sutka.eu. Persons applying for a discount are obliged to present a document that allows granting the discount at the ticket office. The sale of entrance tickets is connected to the entry and exit turnstile system.

The entrance fee is paid for the entry to the complex regardless of which part of the complex is or is not in operation for visitors at the given moment.

The ticket office is entitled not to let enter visitors in case the immediate capacity of the facility (500 persons) is reached, or persons that are not allowed to enter according to the Visitor Rules. Information about the current number of visitors is shown on the LCD screen in the entrance hall and at the ticket office as well as on www.sutka.eu. When the maximum capacity is reached, the entrance through the turnstiles will be automatically closed until the moment other places are made available due to departure of some visitors.

The operator is entitled to earmark certain hours and water areas for sports activities and other similar events. The schedule of these events is posted in the entrance hall in the place designed for informing the public and on www.sutka.eu. Information about the schedule and use of the swimming pool is regularly updated. The whole complex may be closed when events are organized.

The operator is entitled to restrict or close some part of the complex or attractions for the reason of necessary maintenance, due to objective reasons or because a social or sporting event is being organized, without any claim for recovery of a discount on the entrance feed.

The whirlpool, countercurrent, relaxation benches and water spouting devices run at specified intervals.

Children under 1 year of age are not allowed in swimming pools pursuant to the Decree of the Ministry of Health No. 238/2011 Coll., except for infant swimming.

Children from 1 to 3 years of age are not allowed in the 50-metre swimming pool and in the whirlpool. In other pools, they are allowed only in children’s swimwear with tight elastic band at the waist or in swimming diapers. If the child’s swimwear is dirty, the parents must have replacement swimwear with them.

Children under 12 years of age are allowed to enter the Aquacentre only when accompanied by an adult, i.e. a person aged 18 or over, who is responsible for the younger person during their entire stay. Children between 12 and 15 years of age are required to prove their age.

Immobile visitors and persons legally incompetent and mentally disabled are allowed to enter only with their own accompanying person, the operator does not arrange accompaniment for these persons. For safety reasons, electric wheelchairs are not allowed in the complex.

For reasons of hygiene, baby carriages are not allowed in the area of swimming pools and attractions.

Visitors and serving staff are obliged to use all equipment and facilities in the Aquacentre in a manner preventing their damage or theft.

ARTICLE 2
Exclusion and banishment from the Aquacentre Šutka

The following persons will not be allowed in the area of the Aquacentre and will be excluded from using the equipment and facilities:

  • persons suffering from any disease endangering the health of others (fever, inflammations, etc.)
  • persons with contagious or repugnant diseases
  • carriers of intestinal and other diseases
  • family members of a person affected by a contagious disease on whom quarantine was imposed
  • persons suffering from diseases accompanied with discharge of bodily fluids
  • persons with skin parasites and rashes
  • persons with an open wound or bandage on their body
  • persons otherwise endangering the health of others
  • unclean persons and persons in dirty clothing
  • obviously bug-infested persons
  • persons under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other intoxicating, addictive or psychotropic substances
  • persons without the necessary minimum equipment for swimming (swimwear, towel, soap)

Visitors who breach provisions of these Visitor Rules in spite of being cautioned or who do not follow instructions of the serving staff may be also ordered out of the area of the Aquacentre without being refunded the entrance fee. Depending on the nature of the offence, the operator may also request intervention by the police authorities.

Entry to the Aquacentre may also be denied to persons whose visit might disturb order, safety and cleanliness, and whose behaviour is contrary to the moral and social principles.

Animals of any kind are not allowed in the area of the Aquacentre.

ARTICLE 3
Operating Instructions for Visitors

After paying the hourly entrance fee, each visitor will receive a chip band at the ticket office.

The time of stay starts upon the passage through the turnstile system when the exact time of the visitor’s entry is recorded.

Before entering the changing room, visitors are obliged to take off their shoes at a designated location, i.e. by the benches for changing shoes which are located at the entrance to the changing rooms and marked with appropriate pictograms, and to use changing cubicles which serve only for dressing and undressing. The area of changing cubicles is not monitored. For storing clothes and shoes, visitor can use locker rooms that they have to properly lock using their chip. The operator is not responsible for items left outside this space. The operator is not responsible for possible damage occurred due to failure to lock the locker. If a visitor loses the chip, he/she will receive the content of the respective locker only when it is clearly ascertained that the items in the locker belong to that visitor and after the visitor pays a penalty for the lost chip in the amount of 800 CZK. Instructions for handling lockers are placed on each locker. Visitors are obliged to have their chip with them throughout their whole stay in the Aquacentre. If it is not so, the operator is not responsible for possible losses or things stolen from the locker.

Visitors are obliged to deposit all cash, valuables, items of higher value, jewelry, documents, laptop, car keys, etc. in safe deposit boxes that are situated next to the ticket office and monitored by the recording camera system and security guards. If using this option, the visitor will properly lock the box for valuable items with the same chip that is used for locking their locker. If a visitor fails to lock higher amounts of money, valuables, items of higher value, jewelry, documents, etc. in a safety deposit box, the operator will not be responsible for possible damage.

For hygienic reasons, visitors are required to clean their whole body with soap and water (without swimwear) in the shower area before entering the swimming pool. Failure to follow this rule will result in the respective visitor being ordered out of the area of the Aquacentre without being refunded the entrance fee. When leaving the pool area, prior to entering the changing room, visitors are required to dry themselves so as not to take water to the area of the changing room. For this purpose, there are drying facilities with dryers available.

Persons using crutches etc. are required to wash them thoroughly in the shower, persons using a wheelchair are required to use wheel covers that can be picked up for free at the ticket office of the Aquacentre Šutka.

Visitors use swimwear that has to be clean and must conform to the principles of decency. Persons dressed in their underwear, leggings, shorts or other clothing for daily wear, other than swimwear, will not be allowed, except for swimming course instructors, to enter the area of the Aquacentre (swimming pool, water park). Failure to observe this rule will result in the respective visitor being ordered out of the Aquacentre without being refunded the entrance fee.

It is forbidden to use in the swimming pool leather balls of all sizes, tennis balls, water polo balls, heavy rubber balls and ice hockey pucks, including other leather items. Water polo balls are used only during sports events and only within the defined area and in accordance with the time schedule for the use of the swimming pool for sporting purposes.

The teaching pool, when open for the public, can only be entered by children up to 6 years of age. Adults can enter the teaching pool only as accompanying persons.

Steam cabins are shared by men and women. They can only be entered in swimwear. After staying in a steam cabin, visitors have to take a shower.

Visitors have to move slowly in the whole complex in their own interest and have to be mindful of their and other people‘s safety. By being considerate to other visitors, they prevent occurrence of accidents.

A visitor who causes pollution of or damage to any facility within the complex has to report such circumstance to the service staff of the Aquacentre Šutka. The visitor will pay for the damage caused, the amount of payment will be determined by the operator. The operator will put the facility back into the original condition and the visitor will pay the costs related therewith on the basis of the issued invoice. A written report will be executed in respect of the damage caused and the used method of remedy.

In case of an accident, injury or sickness, the service staff will ensure provision of the first aid. If necessary, medical assistance will be called. The first-aid station is located next to the lifeguard’s room by the 50-metre swimming pool. The service is provided during the entire opening hours of the swimming area. The accident will be recorded in the accident log that is available in the first-aid station. In case of more serious injuries, a report on injury will be filled in.

The operator is not responsible for injuries suffered by visitors due to their own carelessness, indiscipline, negligence or breach of the visitor rules for the given attraction.

When using attractions within the complex, visitors are obliged to observe the respective visitor rules posted directly at the attraction.

Visitors are obliged to hand items found within the complex over to the serving staff, e.g. to lifeguards in the pool section and to the ticket office staff in the entrance hall and the changing rooms.

Visitors have to leave the water area 15 minutes prior to the end of the operating hours. Visitors have to leave the complex in such manner that their stay in the paid area of the facility ends no later than at the time specified in the time schedule as the end of operation.

Stay in the complex ends at the moment of departure from the swimming area through the turnstile system that will evaluate the possible time delay in relation to the purchased entry. In such case, the visitor is obliged to pay the supplementary payment specified in the published price list to the ticket office staff. Only then the visitor will be allowed to leave through the turnstile system. The supplementary payment can also be paid in the payment machine situated in the access corridor leading to the changing rooms – the visitor will place the chip to the reader window, the display shall show the amount of the supplementary payment , the visitor will pay the requested amount (coins, paper bills and payment cards can be used for payment) and then he/she will receive the payment receipt. The chip will be activated based on the effected supplementary payment and the visitor will be able to depart through the turnstile system. In case of a lost chip, a penalty in the amount of 800 CZK will be charged.

Visitor rules for attractions

Water chutes

  • A water chute can only be used by swimmers  aged 10 years or over.
  • The chute can only be used when water is running through it. If the chute is out of operation, it is forbidden to enter the attraction.
  • Visitors ride the chute individually at the time intervals determined by the starting device.
  • It is forbidden that more people ride the chute one behind another at the same time.
  • The slide has to be ridden while lying on the back with legs first and arms crossed on the chest, or while sitting legs first.
  • It is forbidden to ride while kneeling or lying down head first.
  • Start is allowed only from the sitting position at rest.
  • The slide’s splash area is in the defined part of the pool with the depth of 130 cm which is not intended for swimming and users have to leave it immediately after splashdown.
  • Visitors ride the chute at their own risk, their health condition must be adequate.
  • It is forbidden to stop, break and hold the wall or the edges of the slide during the ride.
  • Visitors must not have any sharp items on or with them.
  • Visitors must not push each other, particularly before entering the attraction and on the access staircase.
  • Visitors must not use the chute after consuming alcohol or other substances that would reduce their attention or concentration.
  • Traffic on the water chute is supervised by the lifeguard, all visitors are obliged to follow the lifeguard’s instructions.
  • WARNING: Intensive use of the water chute may cause swimwear to wear out.


Whirlpool

  • The whirlpool is a place for relaxation. Please, adjust your behaviour accordingly. The whirlpool is not used for swimming, diving or bathing. You only sit in the whirlpool.
  • For health reasons, we recommend that your stay in the whirlpool does not exceed 15 minutes.
  • For health and hygienic reasons, children under 3 years of age are not allowed in the whirlpool.
  • BEWARE RISK OF SLIPPING! Enter and exit the whirlpool cautiously, wet surface can be slippery and dangerous.
  • Pregnant women should consult the use of the whirlpool with their doctor.
  • If you feel nauseous, leave the whirlpool immediately.
  • The whirlpool maximum capacity is 12 persons at a time.


Yellow slide

  • Traffic on the slide is supervised by the lifeguard, all visitors are obliged to follow the lifeguard’s instructions.
  • Visitors ride the slide individually at the time intervals determined by the starting device. Green = FREE, red = STOP.
  • The slide can only be used by swimmers.
  • The slide’s splash area is in the defined part of the pool with the depth of 130 cm which is not intended for swimming and users have to leave it immediately after splashdown.
  • It is forbidden to stop, break and hold the wall or the edges of the slide during the ride.
  • The slide has to be ridden while lying on the back with legs first and arms crossed on the chest, or while sitting legs first.
  • It is forbidden to ride while kneeling, standing or lying down head first.
  • WARNING: Intensive use of the slide may cause swimwear to wear out.


Blue slide

  • Traffic on the slide is supervised by the lifeguard, all visitors are obliged to follow the lifeguard’s instructions.
  • No more than two visitors next to each other may ride the slide.
  • The slide can only be used by swimmers.
  • The slide can only be used by swimmers aged 12 years or over.
  • The slide’s splash area is in the defined part of the pool which is not intended for swimming and users have to leave it immediately after splashdown.
  • Start is permitted only after the previous visitor leaves the splash area.
  • The slide has to be ridden while lying on the back with legs first and arms crossed on the chest, or while sitting legs first.
  • It is forbidden to ride while kneeling, standing or lying down head first.
  • WARNING: Intensive use of the slide may cause swimwear to wear out.


Red slide

  • Traffic on the slide is supervised by the lifeguard, all visitors are obliged to follow the lifeguard’s instructions.
  • The slide can only be used by small children up to 3 years of age.
  • Parents are responsible for the safety of their children.

ARTICLE 4
The public is forbidden:

  • To stay in the area without a valid chip allowing the entry.
  • To enter the clean area with outdoor shoes.
  • To enter areas that are not intended for the public.
  • To use shampoos and soaps in glass containers, to dye one’s hair, to shave using razors blades, to throw away needles, pins and other sharp items that might cause injury.
  • To shout, whistle, sing, play recorded music, behave noisily in the area of the swimming centre.
  • To push other people in the pool, to submerge each other and to deliberately spray water on other people.
  • To call for help without a serious reason, to use purposelessly rescue aids and the first-aid station equipment.
  • To jump into the pool from the longitudinal sides.
  • To use diving gear, diving goggles and diving fins during hours designated for public swimming.
  • To carry loose inflatable items, tennis balls, etc. in the swimming pool. Inflatable armbands, inflatable seats, inflatable rings up to 60 cm in diameter, and swimming goggles and swimming aids for fitness swimming are allowed.
  • To enter the swimming pool without first cleaning the whole body with soap and water. Furthermore, it is forbidden to spit into water, to rinse one’s mouth and nose in the pool, to urinate or defecate in the pool, to use greasy creams before bathing, to pollute any areas within the complex.
  • To dive in the whirlpool and in the countercurrent.
  • To carry into the complex flammable or otherwise hazardous materials and substances that might endanger hygiene or safe operation. This provision applies also to assortment of the foodstuff nature.
  • To purposelessly move items including furniture, to open occupied lockers, to manipulate technical equipment.
  • To carry any glass items into the complex.
  • To smoke in the internal areas of the Aquacentre.
  • To make open fire in the whole complex.
  • To consume their own food and drinks in the paid zone of the Aquacentre. Only food and drinks purchased within the area of the Aquacentre may be consumed, and only at designated areas – eating tables, water bar.

These Visitor Rules were approved by the hygienic supervision authority in Prague – the Public Health Office of the Capital City of Prague – branch Prague – Prosek, Měšická 646/5, 190 00 Praha 9 - Prosek, and form a part of the Operating Rules of Aquacentre Šutka.
